2024 ATOMIC MAVERICK 95 TI SKIS
The Atomic Maverick 95 Ti returns with its 3rd iteration with no major overhauls aside from a beautiful new graphic. These skis embody the harmony between the stability and maneuverability characteristics desired in an all-mountain ski. As the middle ski in the Maverick line, the 95 Ti takes the best off-piste attributes of the 100 Ti and on-piste attributes of the 88 Ti. As such, this ski would be one that should be on your list to either round out your quiver or function as a one-ski-quiver. The 95mm waist width allows for quick edge to edge transfer while maintaining a significant amount of float, making it a desirable ski for those looking for versatility and capability. Well suited for a wide array of skiers, the Atomic Maverick 95 Ti is certainly on the short list for many and has made its mark on the all-mountain category since its introduction.

How does the Maverick 95 Ti manage to strike such a cohesive ski that is both strong but agile, you may ask? Atomic accomplishes this balance between stability and maneuverability by enlisting their OMatic Core (Nice anagram, Atomic) and two relatively thin metal laminates in comparison to other skis in this category. The OMatic Core is comprised of a combination of titanium and fiberglass layers as well as a poplar wood core. These materials keep the weight to a minimum (1800 grams at 180cm length) while also producing responsiveness and optimal performance. Atomic’s focus when designing the OMatic Core was to blend stiffness and flex throughout the entirety of the ski. Two thin metal laminates look to increase both shock absorption through uneven terrain and torsional stiffness for maximum edge grip. The employment of HRZN Tech in the tips of the Maverick adds to its versatility in off-piste applications as it assists with soft snow turn initiation and playfulness. This recipe results in a capable ski that will not back down from anything thrown its way.

The Maverick’s directional temperament is very evident in its shape. With a rocker/camber/rocker profile, 20%/70%/10% respectively, this ski is surely designed to be skied with its tips pointed downhill. However, there is enough tail rocker to be skied backwards if you so choose. The amount of tip and tail rocker permits for a long effective edge for carving but short enough for maneuverability. Speaking of effective edge, let's talk about sidecut. Taking the 180cm length with a sidecut of 129mm in the forebody, 94.5mm waist, and 113mm in the tail, the Maverick 95 Ti produces a 19.3 meter turn radius. The 129mm forebody width generates great floatation when you are tracking through fresh snow, while the 94.5mm waist permits for quick edge to edge energy transfer. There is a fair amount of taper between the tips and tails to assist with turn initiation and turn shape variety as well.
The Atomic Maverick 95 Ti appeals to abroad spectrum of skiers due to its far-reaching capabilities. Whether that be fresh soft snow or boiler plate ice, these skis will have you covered and provide unwavering confidence. There are skis out there that are heavier and more powerful, lighter and more agile, but the Maverick 95 Ti continues to prove itself to be remarkably well-rounded and suitable for a large population of skiers. Need a daily driver/one-ski-quiver or s ski to round out your ever-growing quiver, behold the 2024 Atomic Maverick 95 Ti.
