2024 LINE PANDORA 110 WOMEN'S SKI
Big, wide, and tons of fun, the 2024 Line Pandora 110 is a powder skier’s dream come true. As the outlier of the Pandora Line, the 110 gets a different build and shape for the most part, but it keeps the overall character and philosophy very much the same. We get a new topsheet graphic for this year, but the ski returns structurally unchanged. As a result, for ladies looking for a lighter and more flexible ski for deep snow days, this Pandora 110 is a wonderful option. Always one of the sharper-looking skis out there, this 2024 version is truly a sight to behold. Line does an awesome job building unique and interesting skis. One of the best parts of what they do is that they allow the customer/skier to dictate the use and application of the ski. While some other companies would take a light and surfy 110 mm underfoot ski and try to pigeon-hole it as a hybrid touring ski, Line lets the skier decide on that input.

Built with Line’s Partly Cloudy wood core, a full sidewall, and carbon and aramid stringers, the Line Pandora 110 is built to rip. The core consists of a blend of maple and paulownia, and these woods couldn’t be much more different. The paulownia is light and somewhat stiff—mostly this is used in touring or hybrid skis that are meant to be light with the added bonus of the wood being on the reactive side of the spectrum. Maple, when used in a thinner laminate as it is here, is on the flexible side of the spectrum. Think of a maple sapling and how you can bend and flex it easily without it ever coming close to breaking—that's the effect that’s created here with the wood core, only the added energy of the paulownia takes it to the next level. On top of the core, the ski gets carbon and aramid stringers to stiffen the mix and provide more energy. As the only Pandora ski with a full sidewall, it’s got the most sophisticated build that’llprovide the smoothest overall performance. As such, it’salmost impossibly light, sitting on the scale at 1500 grams in the 170 cm length.

110 is a pretty wide ski. There aren’t too many women’s specific skis out there that hit this width. Additionally, there are even less that do it with such a light weight and flexible feel. This results in a ski that’s relatively easy to turn regardless of conditions or terrain. The 110 mm waist is bookended by 144 mm tips and 130 mm tails providing an insane amount of surface area. There’s also a lot of camber here to go along with the rather dramatic taper shape and rocker profile. Overall, this ski is bowed-out in numerous directions and dimensions, creating a playful and surfy ski that can be used both in a creative and a business-like manner.
By providing advanced and expert skiers with a lot of ski to like, the Pandora 110 from Line is a true powder masterpiece. Ladies will love the floaty feeling when they’re in softer and deeper snow, and then they’ll be equally as pleased to find that it’s a pretty sharp turner for those times when the powder isn’t super deep. Either way, it’s still a fantastic-looking ski that has just as much going on in terms of performance as it does in application and accessibility.
