A one-dimensional master of frontside on-piste carving, the X9s is sturdy and stable with a 65 mm waist, making is an absolute lightning bolt down the fall line. Not happy on soft snow, firm snow is where these skis come alive and have a desire to open up and let rip with a variety of turn shapes and speeds.

Experts and racers are going to benefit the most from the X9s’ FIS racing technologies and high-end performance. Less experienced skiers will find this ski very difficult to maneuver and hard to manipulate.

Revoshock S provides incredible vibration damping coupled with Ultra Power Core and titanal laminates to bring power, energy, and stability to the table. Ultrawall sidewalls boots stiffness underfoot as well as contribute to the overall edge grip of the skis on firm snow. To round things out, a Multi Radius sidecut allows for a variety of turn shapes and edge angles to be generated.

Things to consider:

The 2025 Atomic Redster X9s Revoshock S is pretty darn narrow for a non-race specific ski making it highly specific and one-dimensional for very firm and smooth snow. On top of that, its stiffness, power, and precision result in a ski that is certainly not for everyone. But who it is for, it is hard to find a better option.

Skis true to size for a frontside carver. Would recommend going slightly shorter than your typically all-mountain ski length.
