Coming back for 2025 with no structural or shape changes, the BDog gets only a facelift in the form of a new graphic. As Phil Casabon’s pro model, the BDog has a very specific build and shape to cater to Phil’s unique style of pressing and popping in the park as well as in an urban setting. Those that are looking for a flexible and playful ski to the utmost degree will find the BDog an absolute dream.

Why we like it:

The BDog is very unique and caters to a fairly specific skier type which can narrow its demographic, but for who it is for, there are almost no other ski that would be a better fit. The poplar and ash wood core make this ski strong but a thin core profile allows the ski to be extremely flexible for presses and butters. A nice balance is struck between these two seemingly opposing characteristics.

Who it's for:

Upper advanced to expert freestyle skiers who love to butter, smear and press are who this ski is designed for and not many other skier types.

Highlights:

The poplar and ash wood core in a relatively thin core profile strikes a great balance between strength but also flexibility. Straightened sidecuts in the tips and tails make the skis less catchy for when buttering and pressing which set these skis apart from the rest.

Things to consider:

The BDog is not for anyone and it’s soft flex pattern can get you in trouble if you are not ready or balanced. The dramatic shape makes this skis very quick to turn and maneuver without a lot of input. All in all, it is a pro model ski tailored to a very specific style so this is something to take into consideration.
