2025 Blizzard Rustler Twin Junior Skiswith Comp J Boots and Poles

Young skiers who want to ski forward, backward, and sideways get a friendly platform in the Blizzard Rustler Twin Jr. The twin-tip shape and a soft, forgiving flex make switch skiing and small features approachable, and the light junior construction means kids can actually steer the ski instead of hanging on. Turn development comes smoothly here, which is what turns early days on snow into a long-term habit. We selected to pair the Rustler Twin with the Rossignol Comp J Boy’s ski boots because of its comfort and reliable support that it provides for early skiing experiences. Its soft flex, easy-to-use buckle system, and cozy liner, make these boots the perfect match for these skis and beginner skiers who need a reliable and user-friend boot.

Who it's for:

Young skiers who want to ski in every direction, not just down the fall line. It fits beginners through early intermediates who are curious about switch skiing and small features.

Things to consider:

A soft, playful ski gives up edge hold on firm snow, so a child working seriously on carving would do better on a narrower on-piste junior ski. It also has limited stability once a kid starts skiing fast.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Keep the length modest while the skier is small, since a shorter twin tip is far easier to pivot and to land switch on. Length can come later, once the child is skiing faster and wants the ski to settle down.
