As expected, the E-Cross 82 is a solid carver on firm snow but also embodies a bit of the freeride spirit of its wider counterpart to allow skiers to make a variety of turn shapes while remaining impressively quick yet smooth and stable throughout the turn.

Highlights:

Dynastar uses a combo of Poplar wood and PU to create a balanced flex pattern for smooth and predictable turns, while the addition of fiberglass adds energy for a dynamic release out of the turn. The ski also benefits from a single layer of titanal that runs down the center of the ski, absorbing vibrations for reduced feedback, while also helping to transfer power to the edges, resulting in excellent grip on firm snow. Finally, a progressive taper in the tips and tails makes it easy to initiate and release out of the turn, allowing skiers to carve a variety of turn shapes at a variety of speeds with ease.

Expert level skiers looking for an aggressive, high performing carving ski will likely find that they hit the performance ceiling on the E-Cross 82.
