2026 Fischer The Curv GT 80 Skis W/ RSW 11 PR Bindings
SKU P09324The 2026 Fischer The Curv Gt 80 is an ideal choice for a carving enthusiasts who enjoy shorter to mid-radius carves. With a narrow waist width and approachable flex pattern, the Curv GT 80 is a great option for skiers who are honing their carving skills or more experienced skiers who want a carving ski that doesn’t require loads of effort to engage. Playful and maneuverable, many skiers looking to cruise and enjoy their time on the mountain will appreciate the Gt 80’s ability to carve effortlessly with confident edge grip and rewarding flex pattern.
Why we like it:
Approachable shape and flex pattern that is rewarding for a broad range of skiers who love to carve.
Who it's for:
Intermediate to advanced skiers who enjoy carving above all else and do not want a ski that requires loads of input to get them to engage.
Highlights:
Starting with a beech and poplar wood core, the GT 80 has an energetic and slightly forgiving flex pattern to allow for some forgiveness and ease of use without sacrificing carving performance. Shaped Ti 0.5 laminates contribute vibration damping and torsional stiffness for smoothness and boosted carving performance. Reinforcing the core, Fischer uses Diagofiber stringers made up of carbon fiber and fiberglass to boost torsional stiffness and energy without adding much to the overall weight of the ski. Holding this all together, Fischer uses a Sandwich Sidewall Construction method for optimum durability and cohesiveness. Shape-wise, the Cuve GT 80 gets E-Triple Radius which uses different turn radii for 3 sections of the ski to produce a variety of turn shapes depending on which portion of the ski is being driven. Finally, Twin Powerrail for binding mounting at the lowest weight to enhance maneuverability and ease of use.
Things to consider:
The Curv GT 80 is intended for piste cruising and carving which is not going to supply the top end of carving performance for very aggressive skiers. Instead, these offer less aggressive skiers a high level of carving performance with the punishing or intense nature of high performance frontside carving skis.
