2025 K2 Disruption 82TI Skis W/ MXCell 12 TCX Bindings W/ MXCell 12 TCX Bindings
SKU KS240146The 2025 K2 Disruption 82Ti is a wide bodied frontside carving ski that has a robust construction for confident edge control and stability. As the widest of the Disruption skis, the 82Ti is the most versatile of the bunch in terms of all-mountain capabilities. If you are someone who seeks a frontside carving ski but likes the feel of a wider platform, there are not many other skis out there that fill the shoes that the 82Ti does.
Why we like it:
Its versatility as a frontside carver is what stands out to us. Due to it being on the wider side it doesn’t get as bogged down in softer snow or pack powder groomers where some other narrower frontside skis do.
Who it's for:
Advanced to expert skiers who prefer to be carving most of their time on the hill but like to have a wider platform underneath them.
Highlights:
K2’s Aspen Micro Block core uses small stringers of aspen to provide composure and stability as well as forgiving flex pattern for a well-balanced feel in deep snow. Dark Matter Damping in the tips and tails works to dampen vibrations and provide a smooth and composed feel at high speeds and in variable snow conditions. Ti I-Beam running down the central portion of the ski contributes to overall stiffness, dampen vibrations, and torsional stiffness for firm snow and overall carving performance. Powerwall sidewalls underfoot provide additional edge grip and power throughout the turn.
Things to consider:
There are better options out there in terms of versatility if you are looking for a narrow all-mountain ski versus the 82Ti being a wider frontside ski.
Fit & sizing considerations:
Skis true to size in terms of a frontside carver which means that going slightly shorter than an all-mountain length is recommended.
