2025 Nordica Unleashed 108 Skiswith Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings

The 2025 Nordica Unleashed 108 with Tyrolia Attack 14 GW Bindings is a twin tip freeride setup designed for aggressive skiers who need a powerful ski that excels in both deep snow and on-trail carving. It features a supple yet supportive flex pattern combined with a distinctive rocker profile, resulting in a versatile wide-bodied twin tip. We paired the Unleashed 108 with the Tyrolia Attack 14 GW because of the Attack’s light weight, reliability, and ease-of-use for all mountain and freeride skiers. Additionally, ample elastic travel and direct power transmission function to ensure these bindings cater perfectly to the needs of demanding freeriders.

Why we like it:

The Unleashed 108 delivers smooth stability at various speeds while remaining drifty and surfy, making it exceptionally versatile for a wide range of applications and snow conditions.

Who it's for:

This ski is ideal for advanced to expert freeride skiers who want a twin tip that performs well in soft snow but also delivers solid on-trail performance without sacrificing versatility.

Highlights:

The Unleashed 108 features Nordica’s Performance Wood Core, providing a sturdy yet supple flex that delivers a smooth and energetic ride. The ski incorporates Carbon Fiber Glass, which uses carbon fiber stringers within fiberglass laminates to offer a reactive and smooth flex pattern. A layer of terrain-specific metal adds torsional stiffness, enhancing vibration damping and edge grip on firm snow. Additionally, True Tip technology in the tips and tails tapers the sidewalls and wood core to reduce swing weight, improving maneuverability and quickness. With a low stand height of just 17 millimeters, the 2027 Tyrolia Attack 14 offers an impressively close connection to the snow, delivering precise power transmission and a confident, locked-in feel. The FR Pro3 toe piece allows for a full 180 degrees of boot release, enhancing safety in a variety of fall scenarios, while the AFS (Anti-Friction Slider) ensures reliable re-centering and consistent release characteristics. Built to withstand hard use, the Attack 14 combines durability with performance, making it a go-to option for aggressive skiers who demand trust in their gear.

Things to consider:

The long camber profile of the Unleashed 108 means it may not be as drifty or surfy as other skis in this same category. It leans more towards precision, which might be a consideration depending on your preferred skiing style.
