The Ampage Vol. 2 is a new park-oriented forgiving twin from Rossignol’s line up that can build confidence for any inspiring park rider. Soft enough to maneuver for a beginner level rider while still giving you enough stability on groomer and spring-loaded pop for the park.
Why we like it:
The forgiving flex on the Ampage makes it easy to maneuver and approachable for most riders. Built with just enough camber to provide spring loaded pop for bigger ollies and more airtime. The twin shape makes it just as easy to ride and land switch as it is regular.
Who it's for:
The Ampage is ideal for beginner to intermediate level riders whether they are looking to hone their park skills or just looking for a forgiving board that doesn't require a ton of input. Built with enough rocker to take on the deepest snow days and nimble enough to weave through the tight east coast trees.
Highlights:
The 30/70 Amptek Auto-turn profile is a good combination of stability where you need it without sacrificing deep snow performance. The true twin shape makes this board excel in the park and easy to ride switch while the softer flex helps with maneuverability off trail.
Things to consider:
The softer flex can lack stability at speed for your more aggressive riders but the Amptek Auto turn shape gives you some added stability when the board is at higher edge angles. The true twin shape is great for riding switch but can lack floatation without any taper in the tail.
Fit & sizing considerations:
The Ampage Vol. 2 rides true to size, but you can size up for more stability at speed.
