DESCRIPTION

The Sawblade from Rossignol is a confidence inspiring freestyle-oriented twin that comes back unchanged from the 2024 season. This toned-down version of the Jibsaw shares a similar shape but with a more forgiving flex and camber profile to make for easier turn initiation and maneuverability without sacrificing stability or pop.

Why we like it:

The moderate flex and more mellow camber profile helps build your confidence whether you are in the park or just carving down groomers. The hybrid shape gives this board spring loaded energy when you need it while still being easy to weave through tight trees or moguls.

Who it's for:

The Sawblade is a great option for progressing beginners all the way up to your more advanced riders who are looking for a fun and playful twin. If you are looking to progress in the park without having to pay for every little mistake, then this is the board for you. It provides enough camber under foot for good edge hold on hard packed east coast groomers but still has enough rocker to take on deep snow out west.

Highlights:

The Amptek Auto-turn shape makes the Sawblade easy to initiate and exit turns in even the tightest situations. True twin shape makes this board just as comfortable to ride switch as it is regular, and the serrated edges add contact points to grip on icy conditions without fear of sliding out. The Radcut turn technology makes this board easy to maneuver at slower speeds but gives you plenty of stability at higher edge angles.

Things to consider:

The moderate flex and minimal camber can lack some stability for more aggressive riders but if you like a more playful feel then this is a great option for you. With no taper and a true twin shape, there are better options if you are looking for a powder specific board but make no mistake this can still handle a powder day.

Fit & sizing considerations:

With all the added tip and tail rocker this board can ride a little short, but you can size up if you are looking for more stability at speed.
