The 2025 Rossignol Super Black Ops Open is a freestyle twin tip with loads of all-mountain potential. An energetic and composed flex pattern combined with a playful and agile feel make for a formidable combination that unlocks freeride potential anywhere in the resort. Although the Super Black Ops is a directional twin, they certainly have a place in the park while retaining all-mountain freeride prowess.

Advanced to expert freestyle and freeride skiers who like an energetic and composed ski without full metal laminates.

Highlights:

The Super Black Ops Open gets a Poplar PEC wood core which supplies an energetic but also sturdy and composed feel to the flex pattern of the ski. Reinforcing the wood core, there are also Central Titanal laminates underfoot to assist with binding retention as well as vibration damping and edge grip on firm snow. VAS (Vibration Absorbtion System) creates smooth snow contact and confident control by damping vibrations over firm and variable snow. Rectangular Sidewalls going the full length of the skis bolster overall stiffness and reactiveness but also add to more solid edge contact on firmer snow.

Things to consider:

The Super Black Ops Open is a freestyle/freeride oriented all-mountain twin, so if you are looking for a twin with loads of carving performance, there are better options out there. Instead, the Black Ops are more geared towards being in the park or in soft snow for most of the time spent on snow.
