2026 Head Kore X 74 Skis with Dalbello Veloce Max 75 Boots and Poles

Quick edge engagement is the headline for the Head Kore X 74, the narrowest ski in the Kore X family. A 74 mm waist rolls from edge to edge with very little effort, and the light, friendly construction favors control and ease over raw power. Progressing beginners and intermediates who spend their days on groomed trails get a ski that makes precision feel intuitive from the first run. We paired the Kore X 74 with the Dalbello Veloce Max 75 ski boots to create an intuitive package that supports learning and development. The Veloce Max 75 offers a roomy fit and forgiving flex, giving skiers a comfortable option for distraction-free progression.

Who it's for:

Progressing beginners and intermediates who ski groomed trails. It fits skiers who value control and easy handling over power, including lighter adults who find most frontside skis want more input than they can give.

Things to consider:

A ski this narrow has essentially nothing to offer in soft snow, so a powder day means borrowing a wider pair. Its ease also caps it, and a skier who starts carrying real speed will want more ski beneath them.

Fit & sizing considerations:

Frontside skis at this width are typically taken close to the skier's height, and a slightly shorter length makes the quick edge change quicker still. Skiers coming off rental gear often find that the length they rented is about right here.
