Like-New Condition!
The 2026 Salomon QST 100 with Demo bindings is a new take on an old favorite and brings some exciting improvements to the legendary QST lineup. A modern shape, construction, and profile make for a ski that's more fun, more playful, grippier on firm snow, and better floating in powder. It's hard to get much better than that. Because this is a demo binding, it's highly adjustable to accept a broad range of boot sizes.
Why we like it:
We love the versatility here. It's incredibly intuitive, it's got a huge sweet spot, and it appeals to a broad range of skiing styles.
Who it's for:
Advanced and expert skiers will get the most out of the new QST 100, especially anyone looking to adventure in trees and bumps, where its quickness and float pay off.
Highlights:
The QST lineup has seen some notable changes, starting with a poplar wood core that now runs just about the full length of the ski and re-shaped Cork Damplifiers in the tip and tail to mitigate chatter on firm snow. Add Basalt fibers for extra dampness and a 100 mm waist carves like a ski with metal in it, minus the weight penalty. The updated shape and profile maximize soft snow performance, which cements this one as a seriously well-rounded all-mountain freeride option. The demo binding brings significant adjustability, spanning a large range of boot sole lengths.
Things to consider:
Versatility is the name of the game, and there's a lot you can do on this ski. That said, if you want a true backcountry touring ski, weight comes into play, because the QST 100 is probably a bit heavy to be used exclusively in that application.
Fit & sizing considerations:
These ski true to size, and sizing down for added mobility still leaves plenty of firm snow performance on the table.
