The Mantra 84 gets Volkl’s Multilayer wood core and Tailored Titanol frame, which work together to create a stiff, responsive, and stable feel. Things to consider:

Kendo fans will want to check out the Mantra 84, but be aware – this is definitely more ski than the Kendo, and will require more skill and input to get the most performance out of it. The Mantra 84 is quite stiff, so intermediates who like tend to make more skidded turns may find it a bit overwhelming.
