2027 Fischer Twin Skin Superlite Medium EF Skiswith Fischer XC Comfort pro Boots and Poles

The Fischer Twin Skin Superlite Medium EF strikes a nice balance between efficiency and grip. This lightweight classic ski keeps swing weight low for fitness-minded skiers logging distance on groomed trails, and its camber is tuned for a clean kick and release so the grip zone engages under pressure and returns to glide quickly. Twin Skin mohair strips supply traction with less drag than a fishscale base, and the Efficient Forward design moves the sweet spot forward so grip comes easily from a relaxed stance. The ride feels fast and lively without demanding perfect technique to reward you. [boot PKG overview]

Who it's for:

Intermediate to advanced classic skiers who spend most of their time on groomed trails and want a fast, fitness-focused ski will get the most out of this model. It also works well for improving skiers looking to step into a lighter, more responsive platform.

Things to consider:

While the skin system improves convenience and consistency, it does not match the absolute top-end glide of a perfectly waxed race ski in ideal conditions. The lighter construction also favors groomed terrain and may feel less stable in rough or off-track conditions.

Fit & sizing considerations:

The ski feels true to length with a responsive camber that rewards accurate weight transfer. Skiers who prefer a more forgiving feel may consider sizing slightly shorter, while those focused on maximizing glide efficiency and speed will benefit from staying true to size or sizing up slightly.
