2027 Rossignol Arcade 78 Skiswith Fischer Premio 80 HV Boots and Poles

Frontside skiing is where the Rossignol Arcade 78 lives, and it makes no apologies about it. A 78 mm waist and a light, forgiving layup let developing skiers roll from edge to edge without much ankle strength, and the shape holds a clean line on firm morning corduroy. The package ships with Xpress 10 GW bindings included. Skiers working past the early intermediate stage get stability without a ski that demands to be driven hard. A wide, soft-flexing alpine boot for comfort-first skiers who have struggled to find room in a conventional shell. Easy to get into and easy to spend all day in.

Who it's for:

Skiers working past the early intermediate stage who want a frontside ski that gives stability without demanding to be driven. It suits people skiing groomed runs regularly and building toward consistent carved turns.

Things to consider:

The forgiving build has a natural limit, and a skier who starts carrying real speed will want something with more backbone. As a frontside ski, it isn't built for soft snow or off-trail terrain.

Fit & sizing considerations:

A length at or slightly below the skier's height keeps this ski easy to manage while still holding an edge. Developing skiers generally benefit from the shorter option, since finishing a turn cleanly is what builds the next level of technique. At 104mm the Fischer Premio 80 is among the widest lasts on the market, sitting deep in high-volume territory with room through the forefoot and over the instep. Mondopoint sizing is consistent across brands, so shop your usual shell size and let the width do the work rather than sizing up for room.
