For decades the Hestra Vertical Cut Freeride 5 Finger Gloves have been a short-cuff favorite among freeride skiers. This close-fitting leather ski glove has seams on the outside of the fingers, a removable liner and a wind-resistant stretch back, giving you precise pole grip and a warmth level you can adjust for the day.

The outseam finger construction is the signature for good reason. With no seams pressing into your fingers, pole grip feels cleaner and more natural than in most insulated gloves.

Hestra calls it Vertical Cut: the seams run on the outside of each finger, which improves comfort and grip. The palm and shell are treated cowhide, and the backhand is a wind-blocking woven fabric that sheds water and breathes. Warmth comes from a removable fleece liner with G-Loft insulation, and the liner can be swapped for Hestra's other liners on colder days. The neoprene cuff adjusts at the wrist with a hook-and-loop tab and slides under jacket sleeves; wrist leashes plus a carabiner come in the box.
