The 2023 Dynastar E-Pro 90 W is perfect all-mountain option for ladies looking to rip up groomers, bumps and off-piste terrain with confidence and ease. With a range of capabilities, this 90 mm underfoot explorer will take you anywhere you want to go without feeling too wide or demanding. Built with a Hybrid Core design, you receive a blend between poplar wood and PU, giving the ski a lightweight feel yet with substantial damping properties for a smooth and light on-snow feel. The Titanal Rocket Frame is inserted throughout the length of the ski which amplifies stability and high-performance flex. This build not only leaves the ski feeling highly maneuverable and manageable, it also provides precision and control for maximum edge grip. A directional tip and tail rocker give these skis a floaty feel for softer snow yet proper effective edge for grip. A great option for a daily driver or a backcountry set up, the Dynastar E-Pro 90 W is a well-rounded, all-mountain ski.

Jana Ross tested a pair of 162s and found them to be just right for her. Her scores backed up her sentiment even further with mostly 5’s across the board with a few 4’s given for flotation and playfulness. A solid overall impression of these skis, leading us to believe they could very well appeal to a variety of skiers. Jana’s takeaway was “this ski is pretty solid for any intermediate or expert. Feels stable on the hard pack and does not disappoint in the softer stuff. I feel like I can rely on it as my new best friend.” We love it when a tester feels so strongly about a ski, going as far as to refer to it as a new pal!
Receiving another review from a pair of 162s, Catherine Ferguson felt that this length was true to size yet a little short for her. Interestingly, she scored slightly lower than Jana with mostly 3’s. That said, she did dish out a few 4’s for stability and forgiveness, both categories being redeeming qualities in an all-mountain ski. Her opinion was “this would be a good carving ski in harder packed snow. It turns really quickly and can maneuver with ease. I would say stick to the hard-packed snow with the 90 underfoot. I would say this is a beginner/ intermediate ski for people who stick to groomers.” Worth noting the tester’s suggestion given the slightly narrower waist width, pointing us in the right direction as far as the specific terrain that these skis shine.
The Dynastar E-Pro 90 W is a solid, well-rounded ski for all-mountain terrain. For beginner to intermediate female skiers looking for a maneuverable, approachable option for a daily driver, this is a fantastic option. Solid underfoot and eager to carve yet playful and surfy when you want it to be, you will enjoy the range of capabilities and overall versatility.
