The 2023 Nordica Enforcer 94 Unlimited sits in the middle of the widths of the Unlimited series, offering a highly versatile and useful ski for both backcountry enthusiasts and all-mountain skiers looking for a lighter, less-demanding mid-90's ski. This does a little of both/everything, allowing skiers to rely and stand on an established shape and profile, but in a different build. Starting with a lighter wood core, the Enforcer 94 Unlimited uses carbon/fiberglass laminates to stiffen the ski and boost the performance. The result is that they’re on the stiff side, so if you’re using these mainly at the resort, they’re fantastic carvers. They may lose a bit of stability on the top end of the speed spectrum, but they more than make up for it in quickness and maneuverability. Since they share the same mold as regular Enforcer 94, we already know that they’re going to be great floaters due to the rocker profile and taper shape, and the mid-90's waist width is ideal for one-ski quiver seekers.

On the 186, which Bob St.Pierre referred to as a good length and true to size, he scored top marks of 5 out of 5 for quickness, maneuverability, and versatility, with 4’s for flotation, playfulness, forgiveness, torsional stiffness, edge hold, and overall impression. Bob skied it using a Marker Griffon demo binding, so no touring binding on this test model. He notes that it’s “A lighter, do-it-all ski for a wide variety of skiers and skier types. This play on the Enforcer 94 is well worth the price of admission. The best thing about it is that you can use it as a touring ski, a hybrid, or a full-on resort ski. Much like some of the lighter mid-90's out there, the Enforcer 94 Unlimited has a lot of energy and snap, and while it lacks the top-end stability that's found in the metallic 94, it does pretty darn well. Also like the regular version, the Unlimited is able to make any type of turn at any point. Very quick and light in the swing weight, so this makes a great tree and mogul ski as well as an all-around/all-mountain stick. Endless, dare I say, Unlimited, possibilities.” Catchy there, Bob.
On that same 186, Jeff Neagle found it to be true to size, maybe a bit long, but given the weight, it’s a good match. Jeff also scored it 5’s out of 5 for quickness, maneuverability, torsional stiffness, edge hold, and versatility. Jeff states that “The Enforcer 94 Unlimited is a pretty unique ski. It’s amazing how they blend the light weight with the stiff and responsive nature of the carbon. Not only was I able to put down some clean carves at high speed, I almost felt like the tail was on the stiff side for a ski this light. While most skiers won’t have an issue with this, it’s almost too responsive out of the carve. But that’s just groomer performance—this ski has a whole other universe of applications for skiers to choose from. Backcountry, touring, lift-served, skin laps—it's all on the table with the Nordica Enforcer Unlimited 94.”
Skiers who have liked the shape and profile of the Enforcer 94 but found that the dual-metal laminate was too much or too heavy should certainly take a look at Unlimited. It’s pretty impressive how they took a ski, changed it, but came up with something not only unique, but also kind of amazing. The Enforcer 94 Unlimited has a whole lot of positive notes to it that make skiers feel like they are in control and able to go anywhere.
