The 2026 Armada BDog 94 is a pro model ski inspired by the legendary Phil Casabon. These skis have a very unique flex and shape that allows for incredibly creative skiing, both on the ground and in the air. With a dramatic rocker profile, short radius, and soft flex, these are some of the most creative skis out there. As with any pro model ski, the construction, shape, and profile are meshed to suit the athlete for whom it was designed, and as such, it makes for a slimmer total market audience as very few skiers are Phil Casabon.

Armada uses a blend of poplar and ash in the wood core to create a strong and steady ski. While there’s not much else used here as far as additive materials, they do implement their 2.5 mm edges for durability and grip as well as their 75% sidewall. These elements add to the park and slopestyle application of the ski as it puts more emphasis on the ski’s power and longevity. These skis are meant to be used in an aggressive manner, so it stands to reason that Armada and Phil would agree on the beefier build. In the 172 cm length, the skis weigh in at 1875 g/ski making it sturdy enough for strong skiing while also remaining light enough for mobility and agility. This is especially handy when perceived in conjunction with the dramatic shape.
The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2026 Armada Bdog 94While not entirely symmetrical, the BDog 94 does have a very balanced feel to it. With measurements of 121/94/116, there’s only a 5 mm drop in tip to tail width. For any freestyle skier who’s looking to improve and retain balance both in the air and on the ground, this is an important stat to consider. Also from a balance perspective, the ski’s mid-90's waist width provides a solid platform to stand on for a variety of creative skiing. The taper shape is the big story here as Phil’s Circle Flex technology makes for a flexible and tapered feel, generating a 15-meter turn radius in all lengths. Armada states the flex profile as a 3/10, highlighting the pliable nature of the ski for presses, butters, wheelies, nollies, or whatever type of groundwork you’re up for. There’s a lot of rocker here as well, creating a shorter effective edge and a very spinney character.
Again, this is a pro-model ski. It’s not for everyone. For those who are looking to emulate their ski hero, this is an ideal place to be as you’ll get the sense of what Phil is going for when it comes to slopestyle performance. The softer flex, shorter radius, and sturdy feel all shine in this ski. Whether it’s what you’re looking for or not is more of an individual question.
