2027 Head Kore 94 TI

The 2027 Head Kore 94 Ti returns structurally unchanged for year two, bringing with it a slighlty updated graphic. This ski works great in various conditions and terrain for multiple levels. While the two sheets of metal make it strong and stable enough for aggressive expert skiing, it’s still light and mobile enough to be fun and not too demanding for intermediates. It’s an easy-turning ski that has a very natural feel to it. It’s intuitive and fun and will simply go where you point it with minimal complaints. We think skis in the mid-90's are great options for pure versatility.

Head uses a strong and honest construction method in these skis. Built with a blend of karuba and beech in the wood core, the Kore 94 Ti has an interesting mix of attributes. The peppy and light karuba play against the sturdy and damp beech to create a versatile feel. Head then adds two sheets of titanal to the mix to further dampen and power the ski. The metal doesn’t go fully into the tips and tails, lightening the swing weight while keeping the ski grounded and smooth in the mid-body. We also get a graphene strip in the ski, further energizing the feel and providing lightweight rebound. The topsheet consists of flax which gives it a high-quality finish that is averse to scratching and chipping while also delivering another damping layer for a quiet ride. Tester Finn Murphy calls it a “Very substantial ski, heavy on the foot and powerful; it wants to go! That said, it was easy to keep in check and make more calculated turns. Great all-mountain carver. The Kore 94 fealt good charger through more rough terrain and carving on groomed slopes. Topsheets were pretty dope.”

Like we normally say, the skis in he mid-90's are a lot of fun and quite versatile. The Kore 94 utilizes measurements of 131/94/116 in the 177 cm length to generate a 16.3-meter turn radius. It’s easy to find that radius because the ski isn’t too stiff. In addition, there’s a decent amount of early taper, making the ski feel like it has added agility and mobility in tighter spaces like bumps and trees. This is an exceptional tree ski and does great in the bumps because it’s got a lighter swing weight and a sturdy feel. Tester Jeff Neagle notes that “The Kore line is great. I definitely prefer these skis over the older versions that used carbon. The metal has added smoothness that the older generation just didn't have. The 94 is a highly versatile, exceptionally well-rounded all-mountain ski. It's not the stiffest or the most powerful, but it can hold an edge quite well in a carve and will be enough ski for most skiers. It's not the lightest or most agile, but among skis that use this much metal, it's one of the best for maneuvering through tight terrain. Works great in bumps and trees here at Stowe, but then you can carve up the groomers too.”

This ski has a nice mix of hefty and stable to go along with energtic and versatile. You really don’t have to think too hard about skiing this ski as it does a lot of work for you. It totally takes the guesswork out, providing strong and smooth behavioral characteristics in a wide variety of conditions and terrain. Additionally, it offers something to like for a huge number of skiers, ranging from intermediate to expert levels. The well-roundedness of the ski and its ability to vary turn shape and style as well as application makes it a must-ski for all-mountain enthusiasts.
