The 2023 Nordica Enforcer 94 gets a graphics change, but remains the same great build and shape that we’ve seen in the past. We here at SkiEssentials.com like to say that there's a perfect ski for everyone, and it's all about finding what's perfect for you. That has not, however, stopped the good people at Nordica from trying to make the perfect overall ski, and it sure seems like they're trying to do it with the Enforcer 94. This ski has a little something for everyone, just so long as you are an advanced or expert skier, and therein lies the issue with perfection. It takes a bit of time and skill to get up to the Enforcer level, as these skis have a full wood core and two sheets of metal. In addition, they also have a Carbon Chassis that stiffens the ski without adding much weight. At 94 mm underfoot, this ski and its 17.1-meter turn radius can really make any turn at any time, and at a high-performance level. In this light, the Enforcer 94 is an absolute unit of a weapon when on the feet of the right skier, capable and willing to rip carved turns on groomers as well as dancing through the bumps and trees and floating through the powder. It's quite impressive what this 94 can do, and we're loving every minute of it.

On the 179, Quenten Jones calls it true to size and scores it all 4’s out of 5 across the board with a lone 3 for flotation. This is the type of well-rounded and high-end scores we expect to see out of a one-ski quiver type of product like the Enforcer 94. He certainly gets the point of the ski, noting that it “Just does everything so well. Stable, quick, damp. Great edge hold but still able to slarve. The tail is all there so don’t get lazy. Daily driver material.” A lot of skiers find that tail pretty quickly into testing this ski for sure. Also on the 179, Devin Frye-O'Neil found it to be a bit short, but still scored it a top mark of 5 out of 5 for versatility, with 4’s not far behind for overall impression, torsional stiffness, edge hold, and stability, noting that “As always, the Enforcer is rock solid. Skis everywhere well.” Simple, yet effective for sure.

Bumping up to the 186, Bob St.Pierre found the sizing to be good. “The 191 is usually in play for me, but I like the turnier nature of the 186, and since the ski is so stable by nature, there’s no need to size up to get performance.” He scored the ski top marks of 5 out of 5 for stability, torsional stiffness, and edge hold, with 4’s for overall impression, versatility, quickness, and maneuverability. 3’s for flotation, forgiveness, and playfulness show the more business-like personality of Enforcer. He notes that “This is a high-octane rock star of a ski. Absolute ripper. Total and complete confidence and control. Must put effort in to achieve response, but when you do, you'll be rewarded with rock-solid stability. This ski will take you where you want to go--it's not just a long-turning carver, there's quite a bit of versatility as well. Any turn at any time. If you value dampness and stability with a ton of power under the hood, you're really going to love Enforcer 94.” Ryan Daniel calls the 186 “perfect to long” and scored it 5’s for stability, torsional stiffness, and edge hold, with 4’s lining the rest of the card. Very high average here from Ryan. “I compared this to the Blizzard Rustler 9. I liked that better in the crud we were skiing. But this thing is a beast. It wants to plow through the piles of crud. Hard charger. Still playful but not super forgiving.” The stiffness and robust nature of the ski certainly stands out.

We like to think of the mid-90's as the sweet spot for one-ski quivers, and for hard-charging advanced and expert skiers, the Nordica Enforcer 94 is one of the best options out there. It’s capable of making any type of turn at any time, and it does so at an extremely high level.
