For 2026, the Atomic Cloud Q14 returns unchanged, bringing the same construction, profile, and graphics as last year. Delivering phenomenal edge grip and power with energetic maneuverability, advanced and expert level skiers will value its versatile nature, accessing strong carving capabilities while being able to take advantage of the shape in all mountain terrain. While it fits squarely into the frontside category, there are narrower options out there, giving this ski a particularly broad appeal. The wider waist width and multi radius sidecut allows it to venture off groomers and explore a bit without sacrificing powerful carving performance. It’s got a strong and sturdy build to go along with a true on-piste character.

Atomic has a strong and robust race program and much of that filters into the Cloud Q14. Starting off with a Flite woodcore, the foundation is light and agile. Reinforced with a layer of titanal, this is where the race-like edge grip and strength come into play. To ensure damping qualities and shock absorption, Atomic incorporates Revoshock Steel technology, which goes the extra mile in smoothing surfaces out and providing extra stability. Whether it's a smooth groomer or death cookie status, these skis really power through it all with silence. For extra durability and enhanced edge hold, dura cap sidewalls round out the high-quality build, delivering slalom style turns, especially thanks to the 13-meter turn radius in the 160 cm length. Tester Fletcher Rosario-Ojeda scored the ski 8’s out of 10 for stability and overall impression, noting that it’s also great on “bumps, groomers, and spring snow. Forgiving and easy to turn.”
The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2026 Atomic Cloud Q14These skis work great on groomers but are also on the wide side of front side. The versatile width is where we see its range of capabilities branch out beyond frontside limitations, with a 75 mm waist width and multi radius sidecut. With 100% camber and a directional shape, race-like technique is easily achieved thanks to the competitive edge grip and powerful stability. The 123 mm waist in the tip provides additional surface area compared to the 107 mm tail, and with a rounded shape, creates better contact to the snow and a smoother turn initiation. There’s simply nothing better than when a ski can rival strictly frontside skis that shouldn’t dare venture off-piste and this is why the Cloud Q14 is so special. Dominate the groomers with aggression and speed but feel free to explore the side trails and beyond; it will have your back. Rosario-Ojeda notes that they’re “not too heavy, maneuverable & fairly quick. Was able to trust it without much hesitation.”
Atomic does a fantastic job on the front side and carving world. Boasting an impressive legacy in the world of racing, Atomic now brings its heritage into the all-mountain carving arena, and this ski is proof that a versatile carving ski can exist. Blending a high-performance build and race-inspired technology with a versatile shape, the Cloud Q14 is the ultimate tool for precision and technique. Strong, crisp, and yet not overly demanding, these skis are all-in when it comes to powerful carves and a wider balance platform.
