The 2026 Nordica Dobermann Multipista DC is a very interesting ski. By taking a strong and race-oriented build and width and adding some roundness and rocker, Nordica is blending race and freeride. This is a very unique product that allows skiers to have a race-like feel on groomers while adapting to changing terrain and softer snow throughout the day. While nobody’s really shopping for a 74 mm underfoot ski for softer snow conditions, it is nice to have a wider platform underfoot for stability and balance for when the groomers get skied out. While it’s not really fair or accurate to call this an Enforcer 74, that’s basically what we’re dealing with here.

Nordica’s Double Core technology has become ubiquitous in many of their skis, and the Multipista is one of the beneficiaries. They take two thin horizontal laminates of beech and poplar wood and put two sheets of metal and a pulse core elastomer layer in between. By having almost four horizontal laminates, not to mention fiberglass, these skis generate a smooth and sturdy feel. On top of that, we get a FDT Race Plate Pro with a TPX 13 binding, bringing stability to the next level. As a result, this is a thick core profile with a stiff flex and a ton of responsiveness. Tester Camden Waller notes that “It’s a ‘Woo-girl on your feet.’ Hold my beer, and let’s race. These skis are sweet. Take the Doberman, tone down its need for attention, add a bigger shovel that lets you cruise through more terrain—and you’ve got the MultiPista*. This ski still wants to be driven, and the more you push it, the more it responds. Awesome on hard-packed piste and loves a soft layer of snow on top, too. Super versatile and maneuverable, it holds an edge incredibly well and is just pure fun! Would make a great beer league ski. Love this length for ripping around the resort, but I might consider something longer for running gates.”
The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2026 Nordica Dobermann Multipista DCThe shape here is the interesting part as it deviates from race world. For measurements, we see a split of 120/74/98 mm in the 180 cm length creating a 16-meter turn radius. While this isn’t that crazy, the amount of rocker in the tips and tails brings the rarity to the ski. With traditional camber underfoot, Multipista looks like a slightly less dramatic Enforcer from the sides. This allows for less hookiness in the tips and tails while the mid-foot zone is all there. Tom Zicarelli calls it “super fun. Great front side carver that’s damp and smooth.”
It’ll be interesting to see the trajectory and path of this ski because it’s on the unique side. Normally when skiers are looking for skis in the mid-70's, they are not thinking about rocker all that much. They want a crisp tip to tail contact and a race-like feel. Multipista’s claims that you can get all the performance you want while having a more versatile shape are tough to live up to. From what we’ve seen, if any ski can do it, it’s the Multipista.
