Volkl
If any ski company has a reputation for edge grip and firm snow performance, it's got to be Volkl. Their Mantra series, as well as Peregrine, continue to set the standard for using innovative construction techniques that precisely align with their shaping principles. On the flip side, Volkl also does a fantastic job with their Blaze and Revolt lines, with the Revolts spanning a huge width and application range. Dedicated slopestyle performers will find success in the 86 and the 90 within that lineup while the Revolt 101 and 114 bring more of a powerful and directional vibe to the mix. Then there's the new Revolt 112—a playful and stable twin tip powder ski if we've ever skied one—this ski absolutely rips it up in our deeper and tighter woods here in Vermont. It all comes back to the Mantra, though, when we talk about Volkl, as the M7 continues to set the bar for high-performance all-mountain skiing.
