For 2025, the Nordica Enforcer 99 gets a facelift (tail lift, more accurately) and a new build that makes it a more dashing version of its previous self. All Enforcers get similar changes to the construction, but the shaping and sizing tweaks have the greatest impact so far. Thanks to Nordica’s success in the Enforcer department over the years, they’ve developed a keen sense of what skiers are looking for in the all-mountain and freeride realms. With the new Enforcer 99, the move was to a quicker, more agile ski that contains more tail rocker and a shiftier character. The older 100 was an amazingly stable and smooth ski, but it lacked the playfulness that a lot of skiers were looking for. This new ski blends those lines more effectively, providing skiers with an increased rocker profile without dumbing down the carving and on-trail performance that was so special about the outgoing 100.

The big thing with the new construction is Nordica’s sourcing of a different wood supplier. We can’t quite pinpoint why this makes such a big difference, but the new skis are considerably more energetic and poppy than ever before. Normally, this means the wood is used in a different format. Underfoot, the ski uses Nordica’s pulse core laminate. This elastomer material is found in their double core skis like Spitfire and Steadfast and it works great to reduce vibrations and chatter in the new Enforcer as well. The dual metal laminate still exists, but it does get slightly narrower, pinching in 2 mm on either side, which is about the width of the edges. This slightly lightens swing weight and increases pep. In the 179, the ski sits on the scale at 2120 grams, so there’s still some heft here for sure, but it just feels lighter. Tester Matt Stromecki notes that “The Enforcer 99 feels incredible and certainly an improvement from the former Enforcer. The lower end of the performance ceiling seems to have been lowered to make the ski more accessible for a broader range of skiers. However, the top end of performance feels to be the same or even better, which is what I think Nordica was going for with these updates. Compared to the previous build, the Enforcer 99 is a touch more forgiving and playful, making it much more versatile and have a bigger sweet spot. Nordica nailed it with this one and made a ski that even more skiers are going to fall in love with.”

The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2025 Nordica Enforcer 99

The shape changes bring life and versatility to the ski with added tail rocker and a more forward mount point. By increasing the tail rocker, they changed the center height of camber. As a result, moving the mount point forward to match that change, they add turning crispness to the ski. The 179 produces an 18-meter turn radius so this thing likes to make very sharp and round turns on the groomers. With the added tail rocker, you can adjust your turn shape and style with greater ease and confidence than ever before. Additionally, this makes the ski feel more playful and accepting of softer snow conditions and off-trail activities. It’s not like the ski suddenly washes out—it's still all there, but it just releases from turns easier and doesn’t get locked in when the snow gets soft and the terrain gets tight. Luke Miller states that “It was quicker than expected but still powerful. Skied it in late morning powder day conditions. Actually think it might have been the perfect ski for a mixture of chopped up snow and powder. HIGHLY recommend this ski. Could see myself replacing my unleashed 98 with it in next couple seasons.”

Nordica definitely nailed it with this one and made a ski that even more skiers are going to fall in love with.
Matt Stromecki

With added tail rocker and a new construction, the new 2025 Nordica Enforcer 99 reaches a new audience with increased performance and versatility. Energy and quickness are the big themes here as the ski makes very short and round turns with ease while being amenable to off-trail adventure. This is still a very sturdy and powerful ski so it’s best when on the feet of experienced skiers who know how to use it. While intermediates and advanced skiers will have some success here, if they want to max out their experience, it’s okay to go a bit shorter.

Thoughts
A mix of on and off-piste. It's strong and stable on firm snow, but its shape allows for off-piste performance. It's still relatively heavy, so would be a bit of a handful in tight terrain, especially in longer lengths, but again, definitely an improvement over the outgoing 100.
In a perfect world, I'd love for it to be lighter, but I also understand that would change its personality. Considering there are plenty of other, lighter skis, I'm perfectly okay with it not changing.
Overal Impression
A modern Enforcer! That's how I think of it. It's not a huge departure from the Enforcer 100, but the extra tail rocker and slight change to construction has significantly boosted the ski's energy out of a turn, as well as its ability to make different turn shapes. Tail release is a bit easier than before, which is valuable.

Thoughts
Really can go anywhere as long as you’re a strong skier.
Could be lighter but the weight is what gives it its limitless strength.
Overal Impression
Fantastic for aggressive skiers who like to go fast. It’s definitely more agile than the 100, but still heavy so takes some work to maneuver in tight terrain. Skied it through chop at really high speeds and it doesn’t even flinch. Carves super well too but that’s not surprising.
