While some may have thought the 110 would get some changes for this year, that is not quite yet the case. For 2026, the Atomic Bent 110 gets another graphic upgrade, but otherwise returns unchanged. This ski, in the 110 mm range, is one of the snappier and more mobile performers out there, allowing for creative and fun-loving skiing in fresh and soft snow. While there are some better and sturdier skis in the directional category here, as far as surfy twin tips are concerned, the Bent 110 does a nice job standing on its own. Thanks to the perfect pairing of energetic construction and freeride shaping, the Bent 110 has few shortcomings when it comes to creative skiing and fresh snow capacity. Most skiers will appreciate the well-rounded nature, as well as turn shape with this ski, making it a ton of fun, but not the most business-like in the category. We have loved how buoyant it is in the deeper snow while remaining cambered enough to deliver relatively crisp turning performance on softer groomers. It’s a nice mix of fun and energy.

The Bent 110 doesn’t do a whole lot fancy in the core. Built with a lightweight poplar wood core, this ski does not overcomplicate the construction. Rather, it relies on shaping principles to make it stand out. There are no carbon additives here, no metal—just a simple wood core and a fun-loving shape. The one aspect that stands out is the HRZN tech in the tips and tails. By thinning the cap construction at the ends of the skis and making it curved to match a boat hull shape, the ski delivers smoother and more predictable performance in multiple dimensions. Atomic’s stated weight of 1750 grams per ski in the 180 is a very paltry number, making this one of the lighter skis in its class. Heavier skiers, like tester Bob St.Pierre, have slightly struggled with this in the past: “I think my center of gravity is too high for this ski in the powder. Not the ski’s fault. I did find it to be more fun and engaging in an on-trail setting with great energy in and out of the turn. Again, the surface should be soft, but it doesn’t have to be super deep.” The light weight is a benefit for skiers who like the mobility and access, but for larger and more aggressive skiers, it could be seen as a hindrance. Keep that in mind when searching between playful and business-like 110 freeride skis.
