The 2026 Stockli Laser MP is an addition to the already amazing Laser line. It’s marketed as a women’s version of the Laser WRT, with a slightly softer flex and lighter overall feel. By following the same mold and overall character of the WRT, the MP is a quick turner with a narrow waist and a sporty nature. Like all of Stockli’s skis, the Laser MP is built to the highest quality specifications, providing smooth and silent performance with minimal chatter or vibrations. The Stockli feel does come with a cost, though, as the precision and detail create an absolutely unique ski experience with incredible snow feel and confidence.

This Laser MP is built with Stockli’s Piste Core Light and Solid Edge Light construction for increased agility. The core consists of poplar and beech but leans more to the poplar for a lighter feel. The edges aren’t quite as thick or hefty, further lightening the load and boosting the quickness of the ski. Stockli also mills the core in a thinner profile to increase the flex and the ease of use. Keeping things sturdy and crisp, the Laser MP uses Racing Sidewalls to boost edge grip and carving power. Tester Jana Ross calls it “Love at first sight. I’m no carver but this ski easily made me into one. So easy to turn and get on edge. Specially at 160 these were totally a joy to ski.” To no surprise, this ski earned a 10/10 for overall impression from Jana.
The Rocker / Camber / Rocker profile of the 2026 Stockli Laser MPAt 67 mm underfoot, skis outside of the race world don’t get narrower than this. It can be a tricky balance point for less skilled or experienced skiers, but Stockli brings it around with a softer flex and a smooth nature. The skis use 118 mm tips and 100 mm tails to generate a 12.8-meter turn radius in the 160 cm length. This is quite short and borders on slalom-like character. As a firmly on-piste oriented ski, the Laser MP is fully cambered with no rocker or taper to speak of. This increases the effective edge and creates a smoother overall feel because more ski is on the snow more of the time. Tester Lauren Morton notes that this is a “Smooth and turny ski that I wish I would have skied them early in the morning. Best for groomed and hard pack snow.”
The new Laser MP will offer more skiers a chance to get on the amazing shape and sporty style of the WRT series, just in a lighter overall format. With increased flex and the ability to turn easier and more efficiently, the Laser MP is quicker from edge to edge and incredibly mobile for advanced and expert skiers. With Stockli’s capacity for creating totally competent and confident skis, the Laser MP is an awesome choice for front side and on-piste enthusiasts looking for quality and control.
