Nordica
Nordica makes skis that simply turn great. Each time we get on an Enforcer, a Steadfast, an Unleashed, or a Santa Ana, there's just something about them that just stands out. These skis love to come across the fall line with intent and vigor, and frankly, we love it. For 2027, the big story with Nordica is the addition of two new Unleased skis—the 106 and 106 CA. These skis have the same shape, but one has metal and one does not. This does not mean that the CA is not an expert level ski, it just means that the one with metal is a bit more damp and the CA is a bit more energetic and zippier. These replace the Unleashed 108, bringing more of a freeride and modern look to the ski. Within the Dobermann line, we get a new width in the Multipista 80 DC. This wider-bodied carver was a nice surprise, as we loved the 74 last year. With more width, the rounder shape and more rockered profile in a carving build makes just a bit more sense for mixing conditions and terrain while the 74, and its 70 mm Multigara counterpart, continue to dominate the pure front side discussions.
